City walk by Meeras is one of the most interesting places in Dubai by far.
Open air areas with very unique designs all over, city walk is a place you just can't miss.
Citywalk hosted the 3D art festival, and in a word, it was awesome. Massive areas taken up by this awe-inspiring art was probably one of the best ways to start your weekend.
They had some really great work, with the artists hanging about so you could personally compliment their work (and we did!) The 'Tasting Japan' food festival had an area especially dedicated to Japanese food stalls, which also saw an appearance of none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
There were so many artists displaying a wide variety of stunning work, that is open to the public. You can get right into the painting and get your picture clicked. There are areas marked to help you get the best angle for your desired picture. Helpers were also standing at each painting to help regulate the crowd and offered to click pictures for you and even go so far as to suggest poses for you if need be.
You could also grab a bite at any of the cafés and restaurants dispersed all around the wonderfully unique architecture that can only be Citywalk. With Dubai mall metro station only a 20 minute walk away, this turned out to be a very convenient visit for anyone who isn't a fan of driving (or traffic!)
All in all a very cool place, definitely worth the visit!
